3️⃣Opening a widget by clicking a button on the site

You can open the #jedidesk widget using a button or link on your site.

If you want to add a “Contact” button to your site, and when you click on it, a chat window with an operator will open. This is convenient, since the client can immediately ask a question without waiting for long answers by mail.

You also have the opportunity to completely hide the widget, which will only open when you click on the button, if you use the events described below:

For this type of work, we recommend that you contact a programmer or person who can go into the source code and safely add the required selector (class).

1. Install the widget on your website;

2. Add a class to your button on your website: jedidesk_widget--open-button

3. To close the widget, add the class to the button: jedidesk_widget - close-button

4. If everything is done correctly, after pressing the button, a chat with the operator will be opened, and the system will already send the client a welcome message 👋
