# Setting up notifications

#### 1. Connecting Push notifications (Windows, MacOS) 

On the **Settings ->** [**Profile** ](https://app.jedidesk.com/settings-profile)tab, in the **Notifications** block, enable **Push Notifications** and click <mark style="background-color:blue;">**Save Changes**</mark>.&#x20;

The browser will automatically send a request to allow notifications - confirm the request. \
If the request has not been received, click 🔒 next to the browser address bar and activate the permission:

Go to the [**My Chat**](https://app.jedidesk.com/chat) tab and click on 🔊 in a dialogue with any client and choose additional sound settings:

Make sure your operating system allows you to send notifications from your browser.&#x20;

1. **Enable notifications on Windows:**&#x20;

Go to **Settings -> System -> Notifications & Actions** and turn on notifications:

Go to the page below and turn on notifications for your browser:

2. **Enable notifications on MacOS**:&#x20;

Open the **Apple menu -> System Settings -> 🔔 Notifications** in the sidebar and click **>** next to the browser:

Expand settings and enable notifications:

#### 2. Connecting notifications in Telegram

In the **Settings ->** [**Profile** ](https://app.jedidesk.com/settings-profile)tab, in the **Notifications** block, enable the **Notifications function in the Telegram bot**, which, when you go to the system bot **#jedidesk**, identifies your profile.&#x20;

Launch the bot, return to settings and click <mark style="background-color:blue;">**Save changes**</mark>:

When the bot sends notifications, you can respond to them like regular messages using the Reply function:

#### 3. Connecting notifications on iOS

Using the [Web push](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] API, you can connect notifications on iOS.&#x20;

Notifications for mobile devices are also supported when adding them to the home screen.

[^1]: The Push API has become a Web protocol standard, and it has been natively implemented in modern browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
